The company quickly removed the page from its site and promised a quick return, but now, today is the day. Spotify are giving away Google Nest Minis for free to Premium users. This deal is going until the end of September or as long as stocks last, so if you’re interested you’d better get a shift on.

Although, there is one catch that is annoying Spotify users about this sweet deal.

So what are the exceptions? The offer does not stand for trial users or those on a Student or Family subscription. 'You must have a full-price Premium subscription in order to claim your Google Home Mini,' says Spotify.

'If you’re on a Premium trial, you can claim your Google Home Mini (subject to availability) when your trial is complete and you’ve started your full-price subscription.'

To claim your free Google Home Mini from Spotify, visit the promotional page on their website. Afterwards, either login to your existing Spotify Premium account or sign up for a new account.

Once you're verified for your free gift, you'll receive an email which will provide a link where you can choose the colour of your new smart home speaker and enter your shipping details.
